Maple Leaf

Title: “Autumn Maple II”
Medium: Oil on Panel
Dimensions: 6″x6″

I’ve really enjoyed the fall color this year. Just a few more leaves left on the trees. This one was at the peak of it’s color.

This painting is sold.

I was glad to see another artist who likes to paint fall leaves. I have been painting in oil for about 3-4 years now. Last fall I painted 3 leaf paintings. A lot of the time, the response is, why did you paint that rather than the whole tree or the landscape? I guess only a few of us really understand the beauty and plain simpleness of a single leaf! Great job!
