GETTING IT ON THE WALL

Framing guidelines. The original artwork varies in size, some are rectangle and some are square. The print you receive will not be significantly cropped or altered in any way from the original painting. We will allow at least 1/2 inch around the image so you can safely mount the print in your frame.

GETTING A FRAME – Your best option is to get ready made standard size frames at your local craft or department store. You can also get them online. Go to any internet search engine and type in your size and “picture frame” and you should get a list on online suppliers. There is usually a mat insert that comes with a ready made frame. If it happens to be the right size use it. If not – toss it. (only kidding – re-purpose it for something else, or recycle) Now go to your local frame shop and ask them to cut a custom mat for you. It should be inexpensive, and they will cut the opening specifically to the size of the artwork. Be sure to bring your artwork with you so they can measure it exactly.
